Growing up the child of a hoarder, I know firsthand that the grip stuff can have over some people is very real and tenacious, and that understanding helps me bring a special compassion to my work.
In 2007, while working as an assistant for a major television director in Los Angeles, I discovered I had the ability to see through any mess, and soon found more and more people were asking for my help. Before I knew it, dClutterfly was born.
Ten years later, we are Los Angeles’ #1 Home Organization company, serving clients like Mindy Kaling, Patricia Heaton, Ray Romano, and Stephanie March, as well as countless producers, directors and executives. To cope with annual 20% growth, I now employ 5 full-time declutterers, who help me serve our over 700 clients with clearing everything from pantries to 10,000 square foot homes. And even with my team, we always have a wait-list. Having just invoiced my 1,300th job, I can honestly say there is nothing I have not seen, no question I cannot answer, no item I cannot sort.
My book The Clutter Code (Spring 2019), will reveal the seven emotional blocks we have with regard to our "stuff" - and how to cure them, creating permanent change for a happier, healthier, and clutter-free life. I have been featured on Hallmark's Home & Family, have a column on MindBodyGreen, and have regular declutter segments on Fox 5 and ABC Eyewitness News.
When not dCluttering, I am the proud Co-Executive Director of OneKid OneWorld, a non-profit building strong educational foundations for children in impoverished communities throughout Kenya and Central America.
I live in Los Angeles and I know where my keys are.
